A brief history of EGBERT
EGBERT is a public joint labor management trust that was established in July of 1995 by and between the Elk Grove Unified School District (“District”) and the Labor Bargaining Units. The trust was established with the goal of providing post-retirement health insurance benefits to you for many years to come. EGBERT serves eligible members who retired on or after July 1, 2000.
Board of Directors
EGBERT is governed by its own Board of Directors and is a separate entity from the District.
Administrator
Business Administration Consultants, Inc.
BAC has been the EGBERT Administrator since 2011 and was created by an EGBERT retiree who managed the Trust while employed by EGUSD. When the District sought to contract out administration of EGBERT, BAC was created primarily to serve in that role.
